If you live, work or play in Luxemburg, there is a good chance you know someone who makes it a special place to be. The Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce wants to honor those individuals at its annual Christmas Party Award Banquet.

Since 1963, the chamber has honored businesspeople through its Person of the Year award and selfless individuals through its Community Service Award. The event has also highlighted people who have made a difference in the Luxemburg-Casco School District through its Spartan Spirit Award.

Chamber Secretary Alex Stodola believes it is an important tradition to uphold and a way to recognize those who make an impact in the community.
