Students in the Southern Door School District is using previously scheduled two days off to address an urgent water supply issue next week.

The district announced Thursday that its facilities will be closed Oct. 22-23 to address the issue. The closure will also affect the Talon Community Fitness Center.

Superintendent Kevin Krutzik said the district is taking advantage of two previously scheduled days off for students to complete the necessary work while the building is empty.

The school is expected to reopen Monday, Oct. 26.
