Upcoming in November at the Algoma Library

Categories: Local News

Late fall is the time to transition to quieter indoor activities, and the Algoma Public Library has options for all ages. Following are a few of the noteworthy events happening at the APL in November.

  • Paper quilling holiday cards with Katie, Thursday, November 6, 1 - 4pm. Roll, shape and glue narrow strips of paper into decorative 2D and 3D designs. For ages 18-plus.

  • Toddler Time every Tuesday at 10:30am. Designed for children ages 1-3, this interactive story time will spark your child's love of books through engaging stories, lively songs and playful activities.

  • Join the Library for a relaxed evening of Gratitude Journaling, Thursday, November 19, 5-6pm. Simple prompts will help you notice the good, big and small. Refreshments will be served, and you'll receive a free journal to decorate and take home so you can continue your gratitude practice long after the event. For ages 10–18.

  • Quilting with Niki: Saturday, November 7 from 10 am-2pm. Quilting with Niki is back with a quick and easy Halloween table runner, with some easy applique to spice it up! Sign up is required due to limited seating, and available pre-cut kits. For ages 18-plus.

  • Book Clubs, November 5, 12, and 17. Check library website for locations and club information.

Library CLOSED November 26-29, for a Thanksgiving break.
