Be aware and prepared - especially during your morning commute - for the scheduled Bayview Bridge (WI 42/57) closure on Monday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 4. The Bayview Bridge will be closed to vehicles and marine navigation from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. all three days.
Work being done includes replacement of the live load shoes. Live load shoes, also called live load bearings or reaction assemblies, support components on movable bridges that carry the weight of traffic (live loads) when the span is closed and seated.
