Experience the traditions of Christmases gone by as the Door County Historical Society hosts its fourth annual Glimpse of Christmas Past, at Heritage Village in Sturgeon Bay. This festive holiday event is scheduled for every Friday and Saturday in December (excluding December 25), from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
During A Glimpse of Christmas Past, the historic buildings of Heritage Village will be decorated for the holidays by local nonprofit organizations, each bringing its own creativity and interpretation of the Christmas season. Visitors wander through the Village, admiring the festive displays, and experiencing the charm of an old-fashioned Christmas surrounded by Door County's history.
The event is also a celebration of the nonprofit organizations that make Door County such a special place to live. While admission to Heritage Village is free, visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite decorated building with a donation. Every donation is a vote of appreciation for the creativity and hard work that goes into making the Village festive for the season.
Heritage Village's entrance is at 2041 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay. For more information, visit www.
