James Richard Copiskey, 45, of Egg Harbor, went home to his
family, Thursday, February 27, 2020.
He was born July 29, 1974 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Donald J Copiskey and Joanne Marie (Salkowski) Copiskey. James graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1992. He was employed as a skilled fabricator with various local industries, Wulf Bros., Hi Tec Fabrication, Emerson Motors, and Hatco, all in Sturgeon Bay. He also operated his own painting
business, “Affordable Painting of Door County”.
James enjoyed camping, fishing, watching NASCAR races, cooking, listening to music, and was a loyal Packer Fan. He will be remembered as a dad pulling his kids around the yard in a boat with the riding lawnmower for fun, playing softball and soccer outside, and watching a favorite family TV time show, the Incredible Hulk series with lots of popcorn.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kiana and Kayla Copiskey.
James will be laid to rest beside his family in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Juddville with a private family committal service.
