Robert J Glander, 73, Algoma, passed away Thursday June 25, 2020 at home after a short battle with cancer. He was born November 25, 1946 in Algoma to Bert and Edna (Nolde) Glander.
Robert graduated from the Algoma High School and worked on the farm for 25 years.
He married Jane Cmeyla September 23, 1967 in Algoma.
After Robert retired from the farm he worked a few other places including Rio Creek Feed Mill and Spartan Construction.
Robert served in the Army reserves from six years.
Robert and Jane enjoyed traveling together going to Canada, San Diego, Denver, Arizona and Tijuana. Robert especially enjoyed his time with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife Jane, three sons, Daniel (Jackie), Jason (Tanya) and Ryan and significant other Carol), three grandchildren Maegan, Katie and Jeremy; brother-in-law John (Diane) Cmeyla and sister-in-law Judy Cmeyla. He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws Milton (Vi) Cmeyla.
Family and friends may gather at St. John's Lutheran Church, Luxemburg, Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM until time of services at 3:00 PM with Pastor Carl Brewer officiating.
