Barbara Ann Foster, 62, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on September 3, 2020.  She was born on March 4, 1958, in Elmhurst, IL to John and Evelyn (Johnsen) Breider Jr.  Barbara grew up in Des Plaines, IL.  In high school, she excelled in archery, fencing, and badminton.  

 

Later in life, Barb earned a degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse in a nursing home for a number of years.  Her greatest passion in life was her love for family.  She treasured the time she spent with family and enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren and a nephew.  

 

Survivors include her three children, Brian (Stephanie) Foster, Janet (Kevin) Ruettiger, and Jeffrey Foster; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Henry Ruettiger; mother, Evelyn Breider; two brothers, Paul (Pamela) Breider and John Breider; one sister, Joanne Adlon; numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Gregory Adlon.  She was preceded in death by her father.

 

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Hainesville Cemetery.  Face masks are required, and social distancing is to be respected.  People are also invited to bring lawn chairs if they like.  Memorials may be directed to Hainesville Lutheran Church.  Forbes Funeral Home & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.  On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
