In Novmeber of 2017 Roland and Patty decided to take their grandson, Roman, and move to Shawano.  This is were they wanted to spend the rest of there days together.

Roland is survived by his loving wife Patty, mother Mary, daughter Tammy (Jason) Hedrington, granddaughters Kendra and Karli; his oldest granddaughter Amber (Joe) LeGrave, grandson Williams Collins-McGovrn; son Paul (Sandra) Collins; grandsons Logan and Roman Collins and granddaughter Quisha; his Goddaughter Stephanie (Keegan) Waggett; sisters Sissy (Rick) Campbell and Darlen (Dave) Calhoun; brothers Rusty (Peggy) Retzlaff, Eugene (Brenda) Retzlaff and Jamo Retzlaff; special friend Sherri Cook and little brother Ed Retzlaff; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly!  Roland will be deeply missed by his pets Blue, Frosty, Cinnamon and Oreo.

Roland was preceded in death by his son William (Billy) Collins, father Roland Retzlaff, brothers Danny, Lyle, Lopy Retzlaff; nephew Cory Retzlaff, brothers-in-law Kenny King and Johnny Holland,  sisters-in-law Debbie Laurence, Lisa Worzalla and Christine Duffeck and close aunts and uncles.
