Mildred Moreau

Mildred Moreau, 88, Casco, passed away on December 6, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born on February 17, 1932 to the late Jule and Signia (Delarwelle) Ferron. On October 27, 1954 she married Mose Moreau at St. Peter Catholic Church - Lincoln. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2013. Together Mose and Mildred ran the family dairy farm. She loved to crochet, knit, and help on the family farm.

 

Mildred is survived by her children, Dan (Cindy) Moreau, Dennis Moreau, and Doug Moreau; step-grandson, Brian Wautlet; step-great-granddaughter; brothers, Roger (Pat) Ferron, Darrell (Faye) Ferron, and Carlton (Carol) Ferron; sister LaVerne Haegele; nieces and nephews, and her special dog friends, Daisy and Buck.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose Moreau; son, Wendell Ferron; parents, Jule and Signia Ferron; twin-sister, Myrtle; in-laws, Joseph and Adele Moreau; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Fritz Haegele, Evelyn Ferron, Ronald (Phoebe) Wendricks, Lorraine (Anthony) Deprey, Gladys (Harry) Jandrin; and special friend of the family, Jodi Anderson.

 

Visitation will take place at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home – Casco from 5-8 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020. Prayer service will take place at 6:00 pm Friday with Fr. Dennis Drury. Visitation will continue, Saturday from 8-11:30 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 Noon at Holy Trinity Catholic Church – Casco with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced and face masks must be worn. A special thank you to the staff of Bellin and Crystal Young at Unity Hospice, and family friend Tanya Guillette, for all of the care given to Mildred.
