Gary J. Pinchart

Gary J. Pinchart, 80, of Casco, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Bellin Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1940 to the late Bernard and Ethel (DeJardin) Pinchart. On October 10, 1964 Gary married Arletta Wautlet at St. Hubert Church in Rosiere. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2019. Gary farmed with Arletta in the Casco area. Gary was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, Luxemburg-Casco FFA Alumni, Land Conservation Board, Farm Service Agency, and was a local 4-H leader. He was the local “Fix-It Man.” He enjoyed spending time and working with grandkids on different 4-H projects, as well as attending events with the grandkids. He enjoyed passing on his passion and knowledge of farming to his grandson Nick.

Gary is survived by his two sons, Brian (Marie) Pinchart, Casco, Brad (Kelly) Pinchart, Windsor; six grandchildren, Kenny Pinchart, Kayla (Tyler) Hill, Nick (special friend, Sara) Pinchart, Sam Pinchart, Charlotte Pinchart, Zeke Pinchart; two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Jax; one sister, Karen Pinchart, Pound.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Ethel Pinchart; and his father- and mother-in-law, Melvin and Laura Wautlet.

Visitation will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church – Casco, from 9:00 – 10:45 am on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced, and facemasks are required to be worn. Livestreaming of the funeral mass can be found on the Holy Trinity Catholic School Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/holytrinitycascoschool. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Gary’s name. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiensnermassart.com.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Casco-Lincoln First Responders and Luxemburg Rescue, the Bellin Cancer Team, the Bellin ER staff and the ICU staff and the 8th floor at Bellin Hospital, as well as to Unity Hospice for the care given to Gary.
