Clara Jenerjohn Peterson

Clara Jenerjohn Peterson, 94, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1926 to the late Jule & Rose (Ronsman) Soquet. In September of 1943 she married her first husband, Allen Jenerjohn. Together they owned Al & Clara’s Saloon in Forestville. He preceded her in death in June of 1979. In August of 1982 she married her second husband, Clarence Peterson who preceded her in death in May of 2000. Clara loved to talk, laugh, and have a good time.

 

Clara is survived by her children, Gregg (Jane) Jenerjohn, Jilaine (Ken) Tlachac, Gail Walter, and Kay (Ken) Virt; grandchildren, Dawn Iwen, Dan (Ann) Jenerjohn, David (Missy) Jenerjohn, Keri Tlachac, Kristin (Pat) Peterson, Troy (Bonnie) Walter, Tracie (Jeff Ladwig) Walter, Travis Walter, Trent Walter, and Tammy (Scott) Smetana; great-grandchildren, Nickolas Iwen, Jeremy Iwen, Sam Peterson, Jack Peterson, Ali Walter, Austin (Erica) Walter, Tristan Walter, Lexi Jenerjohn, Lindsey Jenerjohn, Shae Smetana, and Aliyah Smetana. sister-in-law, Della Everard and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Allen, and her second husband Clarence; sisters, Minerva (Lloyd) Hucek, Eunice (Gabe) LeMense; brothers, Barney (Carol) Soquet, Edwin (Norma) Soquet; sons-in-law, Jerry Walter, Glen LeCloux; in-laws, Myrtle (John) Swoboda, Viola (Harlan) Obry and Norma (Louie Schaefer & Norb VanderKinter).

 

Visitation will take place at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church – Rosiere, from 9:30 – 11:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced, and facemasks are required to be worn.
