Cletus J. Fontaine, age 86, of Brussels, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb 23, 2021, surrounded by family.  He was born and raised on a farm in Namur, WI.  He continued in the agriculture industry as an educator and mentor.  He retired as a Dean at MATC.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking while living in Northern Wisconsin.  In retirement he was active in his church as a lay minister and served on the Door County Board of Supervisors.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (nee Kohlbeck).  He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.  A private mass of Christian burial was held.  The mass may be viewed on St. Mary and St. Francis Catholic Church’s Facebook page.  The family is thankful for the exceptional care provided by Unity Hospice and requests any memorials to be directed to them.  Forbes Funeral Home of Sturgeon Bay assisted the family with arrangements.
