John D. Crockett

John David Crockett, 67, of Carlsville, passed away on April 12, 2021.  He was born June 10, 1953 in Sault St. Marie, Michigan to John and Emma (Bonacci) Crockett.

 

On March 3, 2006, he married Linda (Strom) Boeck in Newberry, Michigan.  John worked as a mechanical technician for the Sturgeon Bay School System for many years.  He enjoyed working on anything with electronics, and anything that required tools.  John was the kindest person with a big heart and was always willing to help someone out.   He knew just about everyone and could never go to the store without saying hello to someone.

 

Survivors include his wife, 2 sons, John Crockett and Joseph (Dana) Crockett, all of Milwaukee; daughter Jamie (Gino) Napolitano, Milwaukee; mother of John’s children, Liz Crockett, Newberry, MI; 3 step-children, Leslie Boeck, Eugene, OR; Maggie (Scott) Stremkowski, Stevens Point; and Natalie Boeck, Bonita Springs, FL; 4 grandchildren, Trinity Moon, Winter Sol, Leila Gertrude Stremkowski, Everett Mickey Stremkowski;  his mother, Emma Crockett, Newberry, MI; sister, Fran (Denny) Pelitier, Newberry, MI; mother-in-law, Trudy Strom, Sister Bay; 2 brothers-in-law, Peter Strom, Sturgeon Bay; Bill Strom, Chico, CA; and nieces, nephews and other family members. 

He was preceded in death by his father John Crockett.

 

Memorial services will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Forbes Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday.  Social distancing will be in place, and face masks are required.  On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
