Betty Jane Everson

Betty Jane Everson, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Seymour, WI.  She was born December 16, 1931 in the Town of Forestville to Kenneth and Anna (Linstedt) Johnson.

Betty married Allen (Al) Everson in May of 1951 in Texas.  After Al was out of the military they moved to Seymour, WI where they lived for a number of years.  After Al's retirement they built a new home in the Sturgeon Bay area in the late 80's and Betty lived there up until a few years ago.

Betty enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.  She loved to go bowling, golfing, playing cards, going out to eat and her yearly trip up north to Townsend.

Betty is survived by her three children Gary Everson (good friend, Renee), Sturgeon Bay; Pam (David) Nowak, Bonduel; and Ken (Lisa) Everson, Hobert; nephew Harold Johnson, Neenah; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two sisters June (Bob) Taicher, Bellevue; and Edith Rabenhorst, Denmark; two sisters-in-law Mary Johnson, Green Bay and Mary Browne, Kewaunee.  She was preceded in death by her husband Al, two sons Bill and Chris, five brothers Bill, Donald, Larry and Harold Johnson and David Browne.

Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Peter Mannoja officiating.  Burial to follow in the Nicolet Memorial Gardens in Green Bay.

Covid 19 protocol will be in affect.
