Carolyn Mary Johnson

Carolyn Mary Johnson, 75 of New Franken, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, June 14, 2021.

 

  She was born in Green Bay on July 13, 1945, to the late Harry and Bertha (VandenBush) Jauquet. 

 

She graduated in 1963 from Luxemburg-Casco High School. On June 5, 1965, she married Edmund J. Van Roy at St. Hubert Church, Sugarbush.

  He preceded her in death on May 20, 1980.  On February 10, 2001, she married Jim C. Johnson in Green Bay. 

 

Carolyn enjoyed cooking, cleaning, campfires, spending time with friends and family, traveling, meeting people, supporting her family, and sharing stories. 

She loved cheering on her family at sporting events and cub scouts.

 

Carolyn always welcomed anyone and made them feel a part of her family.  She had a smile with a “Hi, how are ya?” that would brighten a room and a boisterous laugh that would warm it.

 

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim, and her children, Rose (Jim) Fast, Chuck (Debbie) Van Roy, Paul (Erika) Van Roy, Carla Van Roy; her grandchildren, Emily and Abbigael Van Roy, Autumn Rank, Eddie, Bobby, and JoJo Van Roy; four siblings, Patsy (Francis) DeGrave, Hub (JoAnne) Jauquet, Dalen (Sandy) Jauquet, Mark (Jan) Jauquet; many nieces and nephews.

 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Edmund “Butch” Van Roy and many family members and friends.

 

Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:30 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021. 

 

Closing prayer service 7:00 pm on Thursday.

 

Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
