Mark Liebeck

Mark “Sparky” J. Liebeck, of Kewaunee, was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the age of 53. He was born on March 3, 1968, to Ronald V. and Phyllis A. (Dorner) Liebeck in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Mark is survived by his three children, Ali (Jake) Caelwaerts, MaKayla Liebeck, Hunter Liebeck; his parents, Ronald and Phyllis Liebeck; his first grandchild, Chase Caelwaerts; siblings, Mike (Kari) Liebeck, Vicki (Clint) Deering, Keith (Kerri) Liebeck; mother of his children and longtime friend, Kyle Liebeck; and many nieces and nephews.

At the age of 17, Mark began his career creating custom fiberglass products. This led him to dedicating the past 20 years to building his business, which fabricates and installs these items across the country. Aside from his profession, Mark enjoyed a wide variety of activities that kept him busy year-round. In the fall, he spent countless hours preparing, strategizing, and executing his next big deer hunt. Through the winter months, Mark’s passion projects included refurbishing classic cars, particularly 1969 and 1970 Mustangs. And in the spring and summer, Mark enjoyed quality time on the water fishing for salmon or casting for his next 50+ inch musky. If Wisconsin’s weather allowed, you could also find him riding through town on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. No matter what the activity was, he enjoyed sharing his love for these hobbies with his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church (1412 Main Street, Luxemburg, WI 54217) from 5:00-7:00 PM with closing vigil prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial in Irish Eaton Cemetery.
