Jennifer S. Dachelet-Verhulst

Jennifer Sue Dachelet-Verhulst, 47, of Cleveland, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee after a long illness. She was born on March 16th, 1974, to Allan and the late Kathy (Pribyl) Dachelet in Algoma WI. Jennifer was married to her husband, Matthew Verhulst, December 18th, 2015.

She was a proud mother to her children, Sierra (Kewaunee) and Robert Henricks (Sheboygan); and above all else, she was the proudest grandmother to her two grandchildren, Ethan and Aubree. Jennifer enjoyed being able to spend time with her grandchildren, accompanying them to the zoo, being with friends, watching wrestling, and occasionally having a shot of Honey Jack Daniels. And, just like her grandpa Lloyd, she has an affection for gummies. Jennifer will be remembered for her sarcastic and inappropriate sense of humor, long conversations on the phone, that would leave you with tears in your eyes and a sore stomach from all the laughter. Jennifer made the best of any situation, and her family would say they envied her ability to enjoy the simple things in life.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Matthew Verhulst; children, Sierra and Robert Henricks; grandchildren (Sierra’s children), Ethan and Aubree Lu Maye; father, Allan Dachelet and stepmother, Kelley Dachelet; sister’s, Brooklyn (Kyle Will) and Maggin Dachelet; stepsiblings; Molly (Jared Dechamps) and Casey (Christina) Lindsley; nephew, Landon Popp; maternal grandmother, Joan Pribyl; father- and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia (Johnson) Verhulst; and brothers-in-law, Michael and Kenneth Verhulst; Jennifer is also loved and survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded by her mom, Kathy Dachelet; maternal grandfather, Franklin Pribyl, and paternal grandparents, Lloyd Dachelet and Shirley (Merlin) Hill.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home – Algoma. Funeral service will be held at 6pm with Deacon Bob Miller officiating. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.

Family would like to thank all of the medical staff and facilities who have helped care for Jennifer in the past year.
