Obituaries

Mark A. Nell

Mark A. Nell, 66 passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on August 12,2021 after a 5-year battle with cancer. He was born on February 17, 1955, to the late Orville and Delores (Swoboda) Nell. Mark graduated from Algoma High  

School in 1973 and on August 20, 1977, he married Julie Bair at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Algoma. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, playing pool, and above all he loved spending time with his grandsons. 

Mark is survived by his wife Julie; sons, Aaron Nell of Two Rivers, and Adam (Ashton) Nell of Madison; grandsons, Miles and Wyatt; brother, John (Julie) Nell of Algoma;  Sister, Mary (Tom) Daul of Algoma; as well as by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents,  Orville (Delores) Nell; and grandson Deacon. 

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 3-6 pm at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home – Algoma.  Funeral Service will take place at 6 pm with Fr. Alvan Amadi officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s  Cemetery Columbarium. Online condolences messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.
