Gary L. Rass

Gary L. Rass “Tiger”, 79, Niagara, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021,
after a courageous battle with dementia.


Gary was born November 2, 1941, to the late Clarence and Evelyn (Jandrin) Rass.
He grew up in Forestville, followed by the family farm in Namur. Gary was a semi-truck driver for many years, after retirement, he spent his days on his dad's land in Beecher. He was an outdoorsman, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed deer hunting with his dad and the gang. He had many furry companions over the years beagles held a special place in his heart.


He loved and was proud of his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Jody (Gary) Fiala, New Franken, Penny Rass, Luxemburg, Brian (Barb) Rass, Casco; grandchildren, Jennifer (special friend Jason) Vlies, Kewaunee, Eric (April) Fiala, Howards Grove, Trevor (Tiffany) Rass, Sturgeon Bay, Aimee Rass, Ally Rass, Green
Bay, Brandon Rass, Casco; great-grandchildren, Cody, Kaiden, baby boy, and baby girl (both expected in December); sister and brother-in-law Nancy (Rod) Cochart; aunt and uncle Madeline Jeanquart and Emil Jandrin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Private family services will be held and burial will take place in the Namur Cemetery. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com. The family would like to thank the staff at Maryhill Manor for the care given to Gary. Thank you all for all you do.
