Patricia Barbara Chaudoir

Patricia Barbara Chaudoir, 86, Algoma, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at home with her son and daughter by her side after a 11 month courageous battle with cancer.

 

She was born December 15, 1934 in Algoma to Raymond and Martha Perlewitz.  Patricia was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Algoma in May of 1949.  She graduated from the Algoma High School in 1953. 

 

After her graduation she began working at the Algoma Memorial Hospital as a nurses aid and continued her career there thru all the changes for 47 years. 

 

Patricia married Alvin "Joe" Chaudoir Jr. on April 2, 1955 in Algoma.

 

Pat was a baton twirler in her earlier years and enjoyed gardening, being a nurse's aid, friend and Mom Extraordinaire.  She also enjoyed spending time with family, friends (especially the "breakfast club") and her trips to Las Vegas.

 

Pat is survived by her daughter Sheree (Jan) Chaudoir, Neenah; Son Jim (Paida) Chaudoir, Minneapolis, MN; one brother Robert (Mary) Perlewitz, Sturgeon Bay; sisters-in-law Gayle (Chuck) Gulley, Forestville; Betty Mueller, Algoma and Marcy Perlewitz, Laona, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, three brothers and one sister-in-law Harold Perlewitz, Raymond (Rita) Perlewitz and Gordon Perlewitz; and one brother-in-law Orland Mueller.

 

She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter, family and friends.

 

Family and friends will gather at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joel McKenney and Rev. John Moll officiating.  Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.

 

Sheree and Jim want to give a special thanks to: Kevin and Cheryl Clark for ALWAYS being there,  RN Heather from Unity Hospice, Allison, Jamie and Linda from Bellin Home Health, and to all the friends and neighbors who graciously volunteered to help Pat during this difficult journey.
