Donald W. Prahl

Donald W. Prahl, 81, Luxemburg, died peacefully at home on Thursday morning, November 25, 2021, with family at his side. 

He was born on November 1, 1940, in Kewaunee to the late Elmer H. and Erna B. (Dahlke) Prahl.

He served his country in the US Army. He married Sherri Lee Mattox on November 13, 1976. 

On March 18, 1989, Donald married Diane G. Symons at St. Paul Lutheran Church. 

He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier, where he was baptized and confirmed. He also was a member of the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262, Luxemburg.

Donald worked on the family farm, American Medical Security and Pro Solutions.  His enjoyments included fishing and singing in the St. Paul Choir.

Survivors include one son, John Prahl, Luxemburg; six stepchildren, Roger (Peggy) Delaruelle, Nancy Delaruelle, Bruce Delaruelle, Robin Delaruelle, Tad (Marge) Delaruelle, Greg Delaruelle (friend, Danny); niece and nephews, Jody Prahl, Danny (Kathy) Kratz, David Prahl, Danny Prahl.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Merlin (Linda) Prahl, one stepson, Dale Delaruelle.

Friends may call at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay, between 9:00 am and 10:45 am on Friday, December 3, 2021.  Memorial prayer service at 10:45 am at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd, with Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating.

He will be greatly missed by his entire family and many friends.
