Bonnie Lou Luedtke

     Bonnie Lou Luedtke, 84, of Kewaunee, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2021 while residing at Paradise Estates in Kewaunee with her family at her side.

     She was born September 14, 1937, in Casco the daughter of the late Walter and Leah (Jackobsky) Ullman.  Bonnie graduated from Casco High School in 1955.    On September 28, 1955, she married Leonard Royal Luedtke in Casco.  He preceded her in death August 3, 2010.   Together they dairy farmed with Leonard’s parents, Royal and Marie Luedtke.  She worked at Algoma Hospital in earlier years. Bonnie later worked for Swoboda Clock Company and was known for her clock repair abilities, traveling throughout the area diagnosing and repairing the time pieces.  

     Family was very important to her, especially being outdoors and camping with family and friends.  Bonnie looked forward to traveling to Branson with Leonard and their trips out east, west and down south.  She was known for enjoying a cool one with family and friends. 

     Surviving family includes her four children and their families, Cindy (Robert) Tenor of Sturgeon Bay, Patty (Peter) Dufek of Algoma, Tim (Connie) Luedtke of Kewaunee, Billy (Sondra) Luedtke of Kewaunee; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gale (Rita) Ullman of Casco, Randy Ullman of Casco; three sisters, Vi Smithwick of DePere, Carol (Aaron) Naze of Green Bay, Darlene Stoller of Algoma; brother-in-law, Emil Ripley of Pulaski; the Luedtke in-laws, Germain Chase of Norman, Gary (Carol) Luedtke of Algoma, Larry (Ann) Luedtke of West Virginia, and Darlene (Bob) Charles of Abrams.

     Preceding her in death was her parents, Walter and Leah Ullman; husband, Leonard Luedtke; two sons, Leonard “Lenny” Jr., Tommy Luedtke; brother, Bob Ullman; two sisters, Diane Zamzoe, LaVerne Ripley; brothers-in-law, Wayne Luedtke, and Royal Luedtke Jr. 

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 30, 2021, at Nicolet Memorials Gardens, Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel, Bay Settlement Road, Green Bay with Rev. Bruce Schwark officiating. Entombment will follow.

     Friends may call at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

     Schinderle Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
