Ernest R. Kosak, 69, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Friday afternoon, December 31, 2021, at Door County Medical Center following complications resulting from a fractured hip earlier in December.
He was born February 20, 1952, Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Frank and Violet (Krueger) Kosak. Ernie worked as a painter for PBI and Bay Shipbuilding. He enjoyed boating and fishing.
Surviving family includes his four siblings, Marlene (Jerry) Efstathion of Ormond Beach, FL, Clessie (Steve) Blasier, Bonnie Hensel, Joseph (Celestia) Kosak all of Sturgeon Bay; nieces and nephews and their families.
At Ernie’s request there will be no public services. Internment is planned for Bayside Cemetery.
