Clinton Paape

Clinton Charles Paape, 63, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 11, 2022 in Milwaukee right before he was to have heart surgery   He was born in April 20, 1958 in Algoma to Ralph and Arlene (Butterfield) Paape.  


Clinton attended the Algoma High School until 1976.  He stated his working career at DorCo in Sturgeon Bay were he worked for about five years.  He met is forever wife Debbie George there and they were married June 17, 1978.  Clinton then worked at Olsonite in Algoma for 24 years until the plant shut down.  Then for the last 20 years until the present he was working at NEW Plastics in Luxemburg.  


Clinton's most passion in life was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.  Walking on the Algoma Boardwalk with granddaughter, Lillie, computer games and checkers with the other grandchildren, loved to play basketball with his sons and they could never beat their dad.  His other biggest passion was woodworking.  


Clinton is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debbie, five children Tammy Kruse, Christopher Paape(fiancee' Terry), Taylor Paape, Alexsis (Tony) Eigner and Nathan Paape (Amber Carlton); nine grandchildren Kurt, Kyle, William, Lillie, Sidney, Allie, Bentley, Phoenix and Kingstin; two sisters Brenda Kruse and Nora Paape.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant sister and brother Jennifer and Lee and two other brothers Calvin and Clifford.


There will be a public visitation, Saturday, Jan 15, 2022 at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 11:00 AM until the time of family and friends saying a few words in memory of Clinton starting at 1:00 PM.  


Burial will take place at a later time in the Evergreen Cemetery.
