Tex J. Dellis

“Tex” Larry Joseph Dellis, 77, Casco, passed away on January 7, 2022. Tex was born on September 25, 1944, to the late Joseph and Mable (Vandervest) Dellis. He married Margaret Becker on May 31, 1975, she preceded him in death on May 24, 2009. Tex worked for GTE for over 35 years as a lineman, but spent his life as a farmer. As a child he spent a lot of his time with Robert Opicka then later in life once married, he along with Margaret, they loved to travel and continued accumulating his collection
of tractors.


Throughout his life he accumulated over 100 tractors mostly John Deere and later in life Allis Chalmers. He loved sitting with friends and family looking at the online auctions for more tractors as well as going to farm auctions. He was a member of the 2-cylinder club, and had a love for Palomino Horses. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Tex is survived by his brother, Joseph Dellis; sister, Mary Ann Olson; Nieces, Debbie (Tim) Lusk, Dawn (Jeff) Jindra, Karen (Jesse) Goddard, and Kristine (DeLlayne) Wippich; Nephews, Dean (Cindy) Olson, Jeff (Elsa)
Olson; Aunt, Sister Martin; Great Nieces and Nephews, Annika and Marina Olson, Tristan and Collin Jindra, Ethan and “Sweetie” Clara Mae Lusk, Adyson and Tanner Goddard, Ann Olson, Aidan, Claire, and Maggie Wippich; godchild Mike (Chrissy) Heim; special friend Patti; Also survived by his many friends.


Preceded by his wife Margaret Becker, his parents Joseph and Mable (Vandervest) Dellis; father- and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Lydia Becker; sister-in-law, Dolores Dellis, and brother-in-law, Richard Olson.


Visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Service, Casco (formally Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home) on Friday January 14, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. Prayer service will take place at 6:45.


Visitation will continue Saturday January 15, 2022, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
