Earl Jerabek, 71, Town of Casco resident, passed away at his home
Monday, February 7th, 2022. He is joining his sister, Elaine, whom he
missed so much. Now they’re farming together in heaven.
He was born January 17th, 1951. He attended Rosebud grade school for
8 years, Casco High School for 3 years, then graduating from Kewaunee
High School in 1969.
He took over the family farm after graduating. He farmed the century-old homestead, ran a chainsaw repair service, cut firewood, harvested timber in the winter, custom sawing, as well as custom harvesting. Until the past five years, there were never enough hours in the day for him. Since his stroke and heart surgery, he was like the rest of us, it will get done when there is time.
He survived by his sisters, Edith Lauscher, Kewaunee, Ethel (Donald) Cain, Casco, and Emily (Jayme) Rankin, DePere; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Evelyn (Paplham) Jerabek; sister, Elaine; brother, Ernie; and brother-in-law, Paul Lauscher.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 form 9-11 am at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services (formerly Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home) – Casco. Please, no flowers. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastor Howard Batt officiating. Burial will follow at the West Slovan Cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.KinnardFCS.com.
We want to give a special “Thank You” to Lyle Malcore, for always being there when he needed help. We appreciate Jim Kielpokowski for helping out when needed. Lastly a thank you to everyone who helped out with the spring seeding, baling hay, assisting him with those darn computers on his equipment and anything else. The family never give enough thanks everyone who assisted with the farm. We are so appreciative. And, finally a special thank you to Kewaunee Rescue.
