Brenda Ann Kruse

Brenda Ann Kruse, 62, Sturgeon Bay, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at Door County Medical Center.  She was born June 22, 1959 in Algoma to Ralph and Arlene (Butterfield) Paape.  
Brenda attended the Algoma High School and a number of years later received her GED.  Which she was very proud of.
Brenda married Bernie Kruse, April 21, 1990 in Algoma.  
Brenda was a school bus driver for the Algoma School District for 10 years.  She then moved to Sturgeon Bay where she drove a taxi cab for eight years.  She enjoyed meeting all the people that took her cab and getting them to where they needed to be.  
Brenda was an avid quilt maker and loved the feeling she got when they opened up the quilts. She also enjoyed baking, spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking.  She always had a large vegetable garden and loved to sing and spread the joy of music to everyone.
She attended the Family Worship Center in Sturgeon Bay,  where she was a part of the Women's Bible Study and the Quilters Club.
Brenda is survived by her son, Sam, Sturgeon Bay, sister Nora Paape, IL., sister-in-law Debbie Paape, Algoma and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernie, four brothers, Clinton, Clifford, Calvin and infant brother Lee and one infant sister Jennifer.
The Schinderle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC were entrusted with the arrangements for Brenda.
