Michael J. Savage

Michael J. Savage, 54, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Feb. 11, 2022.  He was born Dec. 15, 1967 in Aurora, IL to James and Rita (Spencer) Savage.

Mike grew up in Aurora, IL and worked most of his life as a master carpenter, which was his lifelong goal.  He enjoyed designing and building homes, along with helping others with their construction projects.

Mike always enjoyed telling stories and jokes to make other people laugh.  He also had a heart for helping others in need.  Mike will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by four children, Brian Savage of Joliet, IL; Johnathan (Nicole) Savage of Montgomery, IL; Matthew (Sara) Savage of Oswego, IL; and Colton Savage of Oswego, IL; 9 grandchildren; his father James Savage of Sun City Center, FL; a sister Tammy (Thomas) Conway of Sturgeon Bay, WI; 2 half-brothers, Scott (Becky) Savage of Yorkville, IL and Shawn (Francine) Savage of Aurora, IL.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rita.

A service will be conducted in Aurora, IL at a later date.  Online condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
