Tom Beam

Tom Beam, age 75, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 18,2022 at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the husband of Sandra Beam. They shared 48 wonderful and loving years of marriage together.

Born in Sturgeon Bay, Wi; he was the son of Jim and Connie Beam. He attended and graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School then went on to attend and graduate from the University of Oshkosh. After graduation he became a part of the Army Reserves. He worked for many years in the financial world, and after retiring from AT&T he began working for Stadium People and CSC. Where he was able to get paid to watch his favorite sports.

He was a member of Denton Bible Church and was involved in the men’s group there. He loved adventure and pushing the limits. Some of his favorite past times were fishing, golf, softball (he even played into his 70s), going to the nature center, and spending time at the marina in Lake Worth. But his absolute favorite times were spent playing barbies with his granddaughter, fishing with his grandsons, and playing any sport with all of them.  He was extremely passionate about teaching his grandchildren everything he could about life. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, and treating everyone like he had known them for years. But most of all he will be remembered for how much he loved the Lord and wanted others to know his Lord and Savior as well.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Beam; daughters Melissa McBeam (Chad) and Angela Barnett (Jonathon); grandchildren Quinn McBeam, Anders Barnett, and Everly Barnett; brother Craig Beam (Jeanne); nephews Jason Beam (Jennifer) and Nick Beam (Arielle). He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Connie Beam, grandparents Fred and Ruth Reynolds. He was also survived by two very special young men. Although not blood related, he considered them to be family Matt Norman and Paul Beach (Andrea).

His Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 5:30pm- 8:00pm with a service from 6:00pm-7:00pm at the Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club 4001 Marina Dr. Fort Worth, Tx 76135. The club is located on Lake Worth.

If planning to send the family flowers for the celebration of life, please deliver to Tom’s home address.
