Obituaries

Eunice Mary Bader

Eunice Mary Bader, age 95, Dyckesville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. The daughter of the late John Sr. and Mary (De Broux) Gilson, was born on June 4, 1926. She married Orbie H. Bader on May 13, 1950, at St. Louis Church in Dyckesville. He preceded her in death March 18, 2006.

 

Eunice is survived by four children: Ted Bader, Vicki Challis, Terri (Brian) Guilette and Brenda (Roger) Steinfeldt; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her sister Rita Berger.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Orbie, grandson Brian Bader, daughter-in-law Marietta Bader, sister, Frances Renier, and brother John Gilson Jr.

Per Eunice’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private funeral will be held at a later date.

 

The family would like to thank her best neighbors Gary and Michelle Borley, Helping Hearts Assisted Living Facility, Unity Hospice and Crystal.

 

In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Unity Hospice or St. Louis Church Parish in Dyckesville.
