Alex Anthony Peot

Alex Anthony Peot, 30, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away August 16, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

     He was born June 16, 1992 to Anthony F. and Sigrid J. (Everson) Peot. Alex graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2011.  He received his Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Alex was employed as a department manager for Dunham’s Sporting Goods Store in Sturgeon Bay.

   Alex selflessly loved the people in his life. He was kind hearted and was at his happiest when helping others. Alex enjoyed listening to all types of music, playing video games, and collecting comic books & Star Wars memorabilia. He will be deeply missed by his family, girlfriend, and friends.

     Surviving family include his parents, Tony and Sigrid Peot; sisters, Kit Everson and Katie Peot; maternal grandmother, Arliss Everson of Sturgeon Bay; aunts and uncles, Jane (Steve) Benzow, Suzanne (David) Miller of Sturgeon Bay, Paul (Carmi) Peot of Mequon; cousins, Eric, Adam, Sara, Marisa, Nina, Jacob and Rachel; and Godfather, Ted Geibel of Madison.

     Proceeding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Geraldine and Norbert Peot; maternal grandfather, Francis Everson; and uncle, Leif Everson.

     Alex’s life will be honored with a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay with Fr. Robert Stegmann as celebrant.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

     Memorials may be given in his memory to Door Peninsula Astronomical Society, Leif Everson Observatory.
