Mary J. Salentine

Mary J. Salentine, 71, Luxemburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, September 11, 2022.

 

 She was born in Luxemburg on September 17, 1951, to the late Alois J. and Marie J. (Delongville) Zellner. 

 

 On June 6, 1970, Mary married James “Jim” N. Salentine at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg.

 

Mary worked Aetna Insurance and then worked on the home farm until retirement.

 

She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, gambling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 

Mary is survived by her husband Jim; three daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Kasten, Mindy Salentine, Missy (Todd) Vlies; one son, Josh (Jenny) Salentine; eight grandchildren, Tanner (special friend Hannah), Logan (special friend Abi), Megan (special friend Jeremy), Caleb, Molly, Sofie, Macey and Ellie; her siblings, Kathi VanDenPlas, Lyle (Marcie) Zellner, Dennis Zellner; sisters in law and brothers in law,  Bev Zellner, Jean (Myron) Rabas, Ron Ullman, Ron (Carol) Salentine, Carol (Larry) Grimm, Wayne (Sandy) Salentine, Judy (Mike) Malcore, Jeff (Peggy) Salentine; she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

 Mary was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers in law, Jan (Joe) Etienne, Myron VanDenPlas; one brother and two sisters in law, Ron Zellner, MaryAnn Zellner, Marge Ullman.

 

Friends may call 3:00 to 6:30 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. 

Closing vigil service 6:30 pm Monday, with Deacon Bob Miller.

 

 Visitation will continue between 9:15 and 10:45 am on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. 

 

Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating.  Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
