Marvin F. Dorn Sr, 83, of Luxemburg, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. He was born in Rankin on April 14, 1939, to the late Gilbert W. Sr. and Viola A. (Burmeister) Dorn. On May 11, 1963, Marvin married Judith A. Schreader at St. Joseph Church in Pilsen. His enjoyments included spending time at the local race track, watching the Green Bay Packer Games, Nascar Races, and listening to Polka music, dancing in his early years. Marvin’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of nearly sixty years, Judy, and their four children, Frank (Lindy) Dorn, Mary Dorn, Marvin Jr. (Krissi) Dorn, Patrick (Carrie) Dorn; eight grandchildren, Christopher Dorn, Tyler Dorn, Tayler Worachek, Nathan Worachek, Kimberly (Korey) Stepanek, Elizabeth (Casey) Bins, Matthew Dorn, Sawyer Dorn; two great grandchildren, Beau and Brooks; one brother, Gilbert Jr. “Sonny” (Linda) Dorn; one sister and three brothers in law, Delores (Ronny) Anderson, James Iseberg, Jerome Warden; brothers in law and sisters in law, William (Brenda) Schreader, Gloria Peterson, Margaret Theys, Sue (Kevin) Geimer; many nieces and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by, one grandchild, Alyssa Dorn; two sisters, Donna Iseberg, Darlene Warden; brothers in law, Hilton Schreader Jr, Robert Schreader, Earl Peterson, John Theys; his father in law and mother in law, Hilton Sr. and Luella (Servais) Schreader.
Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg, between 10:00 am and 12:45 pm, on Friday APRIL 14, 2023. Funeral service 1:00 pm on Friday with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luxemburg.
