Bradley S. Bley

Bradley S. Bley, 55 years, of Appleton, formerly of West Jacksonport, died suddenly Saturday, April 1, 2023 after an apparent vehicle accident.

    

He was born September 18, 1967 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Gordon and Eunice (Herbst) Bley. Brad graduated from Sevastopol High School class of 1986 before finishing his electrician education at NWTC. Brad was a self-employed electrician before working with Palmer Johnson, Bay Ship, Harv’s Electric, Burger Boat and finally as an electrician and a finish product inspector with Pierce Manufacturing, a manufacturer of Fire Engines. Brad took great pride in his work with Pierce Manufacturing where he was a respected electrician and team member.

    

Brad was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, served several years on the Sevastopol School Board, and was the fire chief from 1999-2008 for the Town of Jacksonport.  He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

    

Survivors include his sister, Lisa (Bob) Bieri of Jacksonport; brother, Philip (Mary) Bley of West Jacksonport; children, Aaron of DePere, Taylor (Ashley) Bley of Sturgeon Bay, Maxwell Bley of Sturgeon Bay; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Adam) Nelson of Baileys Harbor, Sadie (Matt) Ash of West Jacksonport, Annie (Jim) Kapolnek of Jacksonport, Andrew (Trista) Bley of West Jacksonport, Lucy (Adam) Meinert of Sturgeon Bay, Mike (Theresa) Bieri of Jacksonport, Jason (Casey) Bieri of Jacksonport, Lindsay (Nick) DeYoung of Jacksonport; 15 great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts and uncles, Marcella Geisseman of Egg Harbor, Dennis (Mary) Bley of West Jacksonport, Lee Bley of West Jacksonport, and Sharon Kessen of Sturgeon Bay.

    

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in West Jacksonport with Pastor Peter Lindemann officiating. Brad will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

    

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the church.

    

Memorials may be directed in his memory to Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.
