Rose M. Ullman

Rose M. Ullman, 80, Sturgeon Bay, WI passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023, with her family by her side.  She was born on July 9, 1943, in Sturgeon Bay to Harold and Esther Kezo.  Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Rose will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and her deep love for her family.  She had a heart of gold and left an unforgettable impact on everyone she encountered.  Her vibrant personality and quick wit brought joy and laughter to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rose dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).  She began her career at the Dorchester in Sturgeon Bay and later worked at the Skilled Nursing Facility at Door County Medical Center until her retirement.

In her leisure time, Rose enjoyed engaging in friendly card games and hosting Yahtzee parties.  She cherished moments spent with her loved ones, whether it was going on scenic drives or simply sharing laughter and creating lasting memories.

Left to cherish her memory brother, Robert (Karol) Kezo; sister, Lynn Hermes; daughters, Karen (Dale) Cihlar, Algoma and Tracy (Ted) Vandermeuse, Forestville; sons,  Eric (Cari) Ullman, Algoma and Kevin Kezo, Denmark; grandchildren, Trista (Steven) Baxter, Sturgeon Bay; Ashley (Kyle) Huff, Appleton; Ethan (Sara) Lautenbach, Algoma; Serreah (Nick) Dhuey, Brussels; Brittany (Travis) LuMaye, Sturgeon Bay; Breann Kezo, Sturgeon Bay; Steven Skippon, Sturgeon Bay;  great-grandchildren, David, McKenzie, Lucas, Tricia, Kyler, Rylea, Case, Elaina, Evan, Misael, Sebastian, Boston, Kayden, and Gunner; her longtime special friends, Sue Kinnard and Regina Weatherwax; roommate Carol Smith and her cherished four-legged companion, Barney.

Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Glenard Ullman, Jr.; her parents, Harold, and Esther Kezo; her brothers, William Kezo, David Kezo and Kenneth Kezo and great granddaughter, Rayleigh.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Paster Curt Grube officiating.  Private burial will be in Emanuel’s Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Tuesday.  On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com.
