Frank G. Mowery, 83, Algoma, passed away February 10, 2024, at Waterfall Health of Algoma, He was born February 14, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI to the late George and Alice (Hochrein) Mowery.
Frank graduated from the New Holstein High School in 1959. Later that year, he joined the US Navy and served until August of 1963. After his honorable discharge, Frank attended the Northrup Institute of Technology to get his degree in Aircraft Mechanics. He was hired by Western Airlines until they were bought out by Delta Airlines, and he continued to work for them until he retired in 2000.
Frank married Dawn Kidd in Riverside, CA., on June 8, 2000.
Frank is survived by his wife, Dawn, his two children, Jennifer and Gregory Mowery, and his grandson, Gregory Alex Mowery; one sister, Diane Hausinger, and two brothers, Donald Mowery and Bill Mowery; three stepchildren and six step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda.
There will be a gathering for Frank on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Brian Pursley from Lakeside Community Church will be officiating.
