Joseph G. Dellis

Joseph Gerald Dellis, 77, Casco, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Joe was born on June 19, 1946, to the late Joseph and Mable (Vandervest) Dellis. He married Dolores Leiterman on June 26, 1971. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2004. Joe worked for the Kewaunee County Highway Department for 33 years until his retirement. Known for his love of Ford tractors and spending time up north, Joseph cherished the simple pleasures of country rides, tinkering on his hobby farm with his brother Tex, and engaging in daily talks with him. Auctions, spending time with family and his grandchildren, and enjoying meals out were just a few of the other things that brought him joy. Joe is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Tim) Lusk, Dawn (Jeff) Jindra, Karen (Jesse) Goddard; grandchildren, Tristan (special friend Rachel White), and Collin Jindra, Ethan and Clara Mae Lusk, Adyson and Tanner Goddard; sister, Mary Ann Olson; nieces and nephews, Kristine (DeLlayne) Wippich, Dean (Cindy) Olson, and Jeff (Elsa) Olson; great nieces and nephews, Annika and Marina Olson, Ann Olson, Aidan, Claire, and Maggie Wippich; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Heim, Diane (Larry) Scray, and Mary Leiterman; brother-in-law, Bruce Keller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Leiterman) Dellis; His parents Joseph and Mable (Vandervest) Dellis; father- and mother-in-law, Gerald and Esther Leiterman; brother, Larry (Margaret) Dellis; brothers-in-law, Richard Olson, Robert Leiterman; and sister-in-law, Judy Keller. Visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Service-Casco on Friday April 26, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. Prayer service will take place at 7:00. Visitation will continue Saturday April 27, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Msgr. Jim Dillenburg officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.KinnardFCS.com.
