Lance LeCloux
Lance Nicholas LeCloux came into this world on March 18, 1997, in Door County, WI. We were blessed with him until his sudden passing on December 4, 2024. He was born to his mother, Debra Adams (Tim Voeks), and his father and biggest fan, Nick LeCloux (Tanya Vogel). His sister, Hannah LeCloux was just a year old when he was born and they were automatically inseparable. Their bond only grew stronger over the years, sharing every life experience together. He was born and raised in Door County, attending school in Sevastopol and later Southern Door. He was always on the go, whether it be shooting trap, hunting, fishing, being the life of a cookout, sharing his humor and impeccably timed movie quotes with family, friends, and friends that soon became family. Not to mention his entertaining holiday wardrobe! It'll be a tradition we will cherish and aspire to top in the years to come. Cracking jokes and lightning peoples’ spirits came so naturally to Lance. As did the love he had for Keri Grimsley for the last 8 years. They shared so many adventures, attended countless concerts and music festivals and of course, laughter. Lance is survived by his mother, father, sister, paternal grandmother Alison LeCloux; uncle "Buck" LeCloux; aunt Sarah LeCloux (Eric Kieffer); his maternal uncle Nick Adams. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lee and Sharon Adams who were instrumental in his life and upbringing; as well as his paternal grandfather Ed LeCloux. A very special thank you to Lance's best friend and brother from another mother, Justin Pierzchalski and wife, Heather for all their support during this time. Lance was so honored to be godfather to his son, Jamison, and to later be his best man...even if writing that speech was agonizing! The two were one and the same and having Justin's presence is like having Lance right here with us always. When they say it takes a village to raise a child, they weren't kidding. Lance had a huge village of family friends, most with kids as well, that were all raised up together as a community. Countless people also considered Lance a son, a brother and nephew. A special thank you to Mitch Gerdman, Matt Melville and Erin Connelly for their immediate call to action upon hearing the devastating news on that fateful day. Our deepest appreciation to all first responders, police and firefighters for their tireless efforts. In his short 27 years, Lance packed multiple lifetimes worth of laughter and memories. He touched so many people’s lives that his stories will live on forever through all that knew him. Join us in celebrating the life of the man, the myth, the legend...Lance LeCloux. Together, as his village, we will gather as he would have done by sharing our favorite stories, shed a few tears and most importantly, share our laughter. A Time of Sharing will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday DEC. 20, 2024, at the Forbes Funeral Home. A visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 7:00 pm that evening at the funeral home.
