Dorothy M. Belleau

Dorothy M. Belleau, 90, Kewaunee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

She was born on August 17, 1935, to the late John and Irma (Homeyer) Schiltz. She married Thomas Belleau on June 21, 1958, at St. Mary’s in Maplewood. She and her husband owned and operated Tom’s Pastry Shoppe in Kewaunee for over 40 years, a time that she loved so dearly.

When Dorothy wasn’t working, she also loved gardening, especially her rose garden. She enjoyed going out to eat, going to casinos, and taking vacations. Known for her quick wit, she was always fun to spend time with.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Belleau, Jon (Christine Faulk) Belleau; grandchildren, Jason Bertrand, Aidan Belleau, and Alex Faulk; her sisters Betty (Vernon) Kinnard, Jean Thayse, sister-in-law Judy Shiltz; brother-in-law Jim Belleau; sisters-in-law Mary Jean Schwenk, Lynn (Dennis) Jisa, Ruth Fuersten; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents, John and Irma; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mose and Mary Belleau; son-in-law Casey Bertrand; brother Jack Schiltz; sisters-in-law Dawn Belleau, and Sue Belleau.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. George Daniel officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
