Patsy Lou Nelson, 87, of Forestville, passed away at her home on March 23, 2026.

She was born June 3, 1938, in Sturgeon Bay to John and Lucille (Anderson) Miller. Patsy married Jerry Nelson on August 8, 1959. Together they raised three sons. Jerry preceded her in death on January 14, 2014.

Patsy was an awesome mother and grandmother who was always there for her family. She was the consummate homemaker and was an excellent cook and baker. Patsy enjoyed working in her beautiful flowers gardens and feeding the birds. She was also a very creative and artistic woman, always finding ways to use the various treasures she would find when antiquing and visiting garage sales.

As a woman of faith, Patsy was very active at Bay View Lutheran Church. She was also on the board of Mt. Olive Cemetery where she helped maintain the cemetery grounds and the old church building. She took great pride in her family’s heritage and connection to the cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Mark (LeaAnn) Nelson, Plymouth; Paul (Deborah) Nelson, Las Vegas, Nevada; Eric Nelson, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Joshua (Devin) Nelson, Kayla (Tim) Fleury , Sam Gordon, and Joshua Gordon; two great grandchildren, Madison and Jacob; two brothers, Ralph (Nancy) Miller, Dyckesville; and David (Mary) Miller, Forestville; in-laws, Bob and Delores Nelson, Sturgeon Bay. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and in-laws, Carol (Cliff) Bockhop.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Bay View Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Mt. Olive Cemetery in her name.
