Dale Louis Ferron, 76, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 23, 2026.
Dale was born on March 16, 1950, in Algoma, Wisconsin, to the late Louis and Orpha (Cornette) Ferron. Dale spent most of his life in Casco. He graduated as the first class from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1970 to 1978.
Marrying his beloved wife, Mary Stoller, on February 26, 1991, Dale found joy in the small moments of life, especially those spent with his son Cody and his grandchildren. Dale dedicated himself to his trade as an electrician after beginning his journey as an apprentice and working his way up to master electrician with IBEW Local 158.
Dale enjoyed his times spent hunting, fishing, trap-shooting, archery, playing cards and bs’ing with locals at Willies, Bob & Lorraine’s, Hank Thiry, Palm Gardens, and other places. Dale helped establish the Luxemburg-Casco Sportsman Club and served as its president. His leadership also saw him as the commander of Casco American Legion Post 319.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ferron; son, Cody (Abby) Ferron, Waupun; step-children, Alex (Tara) Annoye, Greenville; Seth (Kristin) Annoye, Green Lake; Jason (Amy) Annoye, Green Bay; grandchildren, Gabriel, twins Noel and Liliana, Camryn, Nolan, Ben, Elsie, Miriam, Keely, Micah, Etta, and Ezra; brother, Gary (Jean) Ferron, Casco; mother-in-law, Gen Stoller; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sister Christine Stoller, Dan Stoller, JoAnn Havel, Mark Stoller, Jane Fletcher, Kay Griep, Clare Peterson, Sue Shettleroe, Ann Morthorpe, Elizabeth Burnim, and David Stoller; as well as by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Orpha Ferron; sister, Arlene Adams; father-in-law, William Stoller; brothers-in-law, Robert Havel and Ambrose Adams.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 pm at St. Peter Catholic Church – Lincoln, with a prayer service at 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 29, 2026, at St. Peter Catholic Church from 9:00-10:45. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military rites.
