Donald Edward Londo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Edward Londo, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Aurora St. Luke's Hospital on May 24, 2026.

Don was born on November 11, 1956 in Sturgeon Bay, to Raymond and Joyce (DeBroux) Londo. He grew up on the family farm in Little Sturgeon and later moved to Institute.

From a young age, Don had a love of sports and enjoyed football, wrestling, track, and baseball. He graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1975 and enjoyed reconnecting with classmates over the years at their annual softball class reunion. Following graduation, Don began his career as a pipe fitter at Bay Shipbuilding. In 1975, he met the love of his life, Debbie Lynch, and the two were married in Institute in 1979. After a layoff from Bay Ship, Don continued his hardworking career at Peterson Builders, later moving to Algoma Hardwoods, and eventually finishing his career at TTX. Don took immense pride in providing for his family through years of dedicated work. He retired in 2023 after a long and fulfilling career, though retirement did not slow him down for long. He later began working part-time at Country Ovens, where he especially loved traveling throughout Door County.

Together, Debbie and Don built a beautiful life centered on love, family, and creating lasting memories with their three children, Christina, Ryan, and Danielle. As a family, they spent many days camping, biking, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. Don especially loved being captain of his pontoon boat and was the proudest supporter at every event, game, and activity his children participated in. Above all else, Don treasured his role as "Pa" to his ten grandchildren. He could not have been more proud of each of them. Whether on the sidelines of a game, at a school event, or simply spending time together, Don's love and support were unwavering. His family was truly the center of his world, and he reminded them of that love until his very last moments.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Lindstrom; his brother-in-law, Don Daubner; and his sister-in-law, Wendy Lynch. He is survived by his wife Debbie; his three children, Christina (Greg) Klaubauf, Ryan (Brittney) Londo, and Danielle (Zach) Gilliame; 10 grandchildren Tatem, Tyce, Trey, Kalla, Kolbee, Graham, Krew, Kade, Reed, and Millie; his siblings and in-laws Dan (Vicky) Londo, Karen Londo, Marty Lindstrom, Laurie (Bart) Starr, Linda Daubner, Kathy (Dick) Stuewer, Kenny Lynch, John (Barb) Lynch, David (Cheri) Lynch, and Jim (Darlene) Lynch; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 3:00 to7:00 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home with a short service following at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Matt Simonar officiating.

“Our family would like to thank the wonderful ICU nurses and staff at Aurora St. Luke's.” Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Don may be shared with his family at www.HuehnsFuneralHome.com.
