Patricia M. Olson

Patricia M. Olson, 86, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, Green Bay on Thursday, June 25, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1940 in Oconto Falls, daughter of the late Earl and Mildred (Hudson) Beaumia. Patricia attended St. Anthony Catholic School before graduating from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1958. On October 6, 1962, she married James Olson at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 28, 2023. Patricia was employed at Master Lock in Green Bay for a short period of time and also worked at A&W in Oconto Falls. She took time off from her career to raise her children and returned to work with Doerr Electric, which later became Emerson Motors until her retirement. Patricia was a member of the Red Hatters Society. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club. Patricia enjoyed bowling and loved ballroom dancing with her husband, James. She was also active in the singing group Sweet Adeline’s. Patricia and her sister Polly enjoyed singing together for many years at weddings throughout the area. Survivors include her four children: April (Randy) Kania, Tennessee, Debby (Shaun) Koulias, Jacksonport, Steve Olson, Sturgeon Bay, Wendy (Jeff) Guilette, Brussels; 10 grandchildren: Megan (Jason) McKinney, Joseph Kania, Rachel (Danial) Alt, Alexis Kania, Cecilia (Troy) Baskett, Cecil (Ashley) Brauer, Carla Brauer, Cassandra Brauer. Jamie (Robyn) Guilette, and Kayla Guilette; 14 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Deucalion, Atticus, Caspian, Astrid, Orlaith, Lorelei, Sutton, Cecil, Liam, Octavia, Emmet, Morgan and Aurora; two sisters: Paulina Wenta and Cathleen Beaumia; three brothers: Phillip (Corinne) Beaumia, Arthur (Penny) Beaumia, Michael (Liz) Beaumia; one sister-in-law: Alberta Beaumia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Anita Hearley, Ardella Nelson, Laona Fonferik, Luann (Roy) Woodland, and Diane Olson. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Olson; her parents: Earl and Mildred Beaumia; two brothers: Darrell Beaumia and infant brother Eugene Beaumia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Donald Wenta, Frank Hearley, Wayne Nelson, Bill Fonferik, Leroy Olson, Evelyn and Bernie Halvorsen, Tony and Marilyn Olson, Cletus and Karen Olson & David Olson. Visitation for Patricia will be held at Forbes Funeral Home & Cremations, 319 W Spruce St. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 4:00 PM until the time of a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning, July 2, 2026 at Forbes Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 811 W Juniper St. at 10:30 AM. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tony Birdsall. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum.
