Gibraltar takes pair of losses in boys and girls basketball action

By Connor Harbit

The Gibraltar Vikings boys basketball team took to the road and started its 2018-2019 season with a 63-43 loss to the Chilton Tigers. Meanwhile, the Gibraltar girls, coming off a 48-point victory over Sturgeon Bay, found the same amount of offense that the boys did, but still could not get over the Algoma Wolves as they dropped their game 53-43. Following the loss, the Gibraltar boys (0-1) will attempt to regroup as they travel once again to next meet the Gillett Tigers (0-0), while the girls move on to Mishicot (2-0).
