Southern Door beat Oconto Thursday night 46-38 in Packerland Conference girls basketball. The Eagles had three players score 12 or more points including Grace LeGrave (12), Hailey Shimon (12) and Tehya Bertrand (13). The Blue Devils led 23-22 at halftime but Southern Door soared back in the second half outscoring Oconto 24-15 in the second half. Maria Allen led Oconto with 13 points.
Green Bay N.E.W. topped Sturgeon Bay 64-30 by forcing 34 Clipper turnovers. Grace Scholz lead all scorers for N.E.W. with 19 points. Sarah Bridenhagen scored 15 points and Greta Meleen had eight points in the loss.
Sevastopol fell to Peshtigo 50-38 after being down by just two (21-19) at halftime. Amber Roalkvan led the Pioneers with 19 points.
Algoma was throttled by Kewaunee 51-30. The first edition of “The War on the Shore” this season went to the Sara Dax led Storm.
