Kewaunee stands alone atop the Packerland Conference in high school girls basketball after two weeks of league play. At (3-0) the Storm appears poised to stay at or near the top of the conference for the entire season. Their 1,000 point scorer Sara Dax has led them to a great start to the season. Add veteran coach Lynn Geier to the equation and the rest of the conference has an uphill climb to catch the Storm. Peshtigo is also undefeated at (2-0) to start the year. The top six schools could all contend for the conference crown this season. A number of conference coaches agree that it will be very difficult for any one team to make it through the Packerland this season undefeated.
