Packers path to the Playoffs

The Green Bay Packers somehow are still eligible for the 2018 NFL post-season. There is a big hill to climb including a (3-0) finish to the regular season including the biggest challenge this week at Chicago. If Green Bay beats the Bears Sunday they would need to finish out the year with wins at the New York Jets and at home against the Detroit Lions.

The Packers need a little help to get in as well. The Redskins, Eagles and Panthers must all lose at least one of their remaining three games. The Vikings would need to lose two of their remaining three games home against the Dolphins and Bears and at Detroit.

The Packers will need five total losses from four different teams plus a perfect end to their own season. Interim Head Coach Joe Philbin and his team are mathematically still alive for a run at the Super Bowl. The players are focusing on the one game at a time philosophy. However, most admit they will be scoreboard watching for the rest of the season.
