Luxemburg-Casco wrestling gets second crack at Wrightstown in multi-meet

Luxemburg-Casco wrestlers will travel to Little Chute Thursday night to face its conference foes, including a possible rematch against Wrightstown.


The Spartans got off to a rocky start in its first dual of the season against the Tigers, falling 40-15. Thursday's multi-meet includes Clintonville, Wrightstown, Little Chute, Freedom, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Oconto Falls, Marinette, and Waupaca. Four of the teams (Wrightstown- 1st, Freedom- 4th, Luxemburg-Casco- 5th, and Denmark- 7th) are currently state-ranked according to Wisconsin Wrestling Online.


Thursday's meet, which starts at 5 p.m., serves as a warm-up to the Spartans upcoming tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.
