Sturgeon Bay girls basketball got in the win column with a 52-35 victory over Sevastopol Thursday night. Sarah Bridenhagen led all scorers with a career-high 25 points. Ashley Alberts also scored a career-high 15 points for the Clippers. Sturgeon Bay was down 12-2 in the first half and was able to fight back and overtake the Pioneers for the win.
Algoma topped Peshtigo 42-35 in a much-needed win for Coach Mark Zastro and the Wolves. Makayla Guilette led Algoma with 15 points.
